30 Days of Remembrance: Matthew

Matthew was the second oldest of five kids, growing up alongside his older brother JJ, younger sister Kimmy, younger brother Ryan, and me, his youngest sister. He was always starting something with his siblings, or someone was getting back at him. He was the antagonist of the family because he would crack a lot of jokes or pranks and really get under your skin. He was very thin, so he got picked on a lot by his older brother JJ, but it was all fun and games at the Kreuzer household.  

Matt was very close with his siblings and his mom. He was surprisingly very good at giving gifts to mom and always made her smile with his sentimental gifts.  

He had a style that was different from the rest of his family. Matt really enjoyed skateboarding, snowboarding, golf, bowling, playing poker, going to the casino, riding 3-wheelers, and playing baseball. He was the only one in the family who skateboarded, spending time in the driveway hitting ramps he had. He also loved riding his 3-wheeler at the beach, getting into some trouble with the boys, and was always working on it.  

Matt was so special to his family and was definitely the funniest one who could make you laugh over the stupidest thing. He was never serious, and you couldn't help but smile at something he said or did. Though he was somewhat shy, once he knew you and was comfortable around you, all his friends would say how funny he was.  

I have so many memories that I will hold onto forever, like hearing my brothers in the room next to her playing pranks, laughing, or yelling.  

Matthew always wanted to do the right thing. He would want everyone to have a good time and enjoy life, not be so serious all the time.
